Iván Bustinduy

Iván Bustinduy is an Argentine-Spanish film director, born in Buenos Aires in 1997. He trained as a filmmaker and professor at the Universidad del Cine (FUC), where he works as a professor. He directed THE SECOND MAN (2021), winner of the Méliès Award at the Mar del Plata Film Festival, and ANIMAL TRANSPORT (2023), premiering at BAFICI, PÖFF Shorts and Palm Springs. He is part of Colectivo Rutemberg, a production company based in Buenos Aires, and of TAIPEI / Crítica de cine, where he writes about film and education. He works as programming director at Guayaba, a Latin American film platform, and in 2022 he was part of the organization of the Argentine Film Survey. He is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Film Curating at Elías Querejeta Zine Eskola (EQZE) while developing TIME OUT, his debut feature.
