George Metaxas

George Metaxas is a queer, Greek-Australian stop-motion director. A former architect, he immigrated to the US to study Experimental Animation at CalArts. His most recent film, “Mother Bunker” (2020), was programmed in the Queensland Gallery of Modern Art’s retrospective on Australian animation and screened at Ann Arbor, Outfest and MIFF.
