Jay Hiukit Wong

Jay Wong is a director, animator, stoyboard artist, illustrator and comic artist based in London, UK.

He graduated from Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Digital Media in 2012, where he honed his skills in animation and film making.

Jay’s works often try to blend traditional techniques with modern styles to create something new and unique. By using Chinese ink and Chinese brush pens, combining with traditional comic skill, Jay’s comics are able to create artwork that is both visually striking and culturally rich.

Jay’s willingness to experiment with different methods of storytelling can often lead to fresh and exciting perspectives. As a young director in the industry, Jay has the opportunity to make his mark and leave a lasting impression on audiences. By using various techniques, he can create a unique style that sets his work apart from others in the industry.

In 2021, Jay co-directed the film “Tete-beche” which had received numerous awards and being selected by different film and animation festivals, including the International Alexandria Short Film Festival, Animation Dingle, ANNY: Animation Nights New York. These achievements showed Jay’s dedication and passion to his works.
