After studying at Estienne School in Paris, Julie Daravan Chea graduated from La Poudrière animation school in 2020, where she directed "Your French is Perfect!" which deals with the impact of trivialized racism in family relationships. She then worked on layout and animation on series. She is a member of the collective "Decolonizing Animation", which aims to denounce the issues of racism in animation productions in France. Currently, she alternates between comics and her short film "Chiche".
