Dimitrije Mihajlovic

Dimitri Mihajlovic, born in Belgrade, Serbia, in 1990, is a director, animator and post-producer from Lisbon, currently based in Porto. He graduated in Multimedia Art with a specialization in animation under the mentorship of José Pedro Cavalheiro (Zepe) at the Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Lisbon in 2012, and completed a postgraduate degree in the same area and under the same mentorship in 2013. Since his formative years, he started working on auteur short films, participating in the production of Joana Bartolomeu's "M" as a layout artist and animator. After finishing his postgraduate degree, he joined the team at "Modo Imago" where he worked for 2 years, mainly as a main composer on films such as Rita Cruchinho Neves' "Vigil" and Catarina Romano's "Máquina ou a Casa de Habitar". In 2015, he was invited to join the BAP - Animation Studio team, continuously participating in several projects since then, including "Elo" (assistant director, animation and compositing), "Homem das Pernas Altas" (animation and compositing), "Agouro" (compositing and painting), among others. Recently, he co-directed the short film "Quase Me Lembro", with Miguel Lima.
