Magnus Merklin Christensen

Magnus graduated with a bachelor in Graphic Storytelling from The Animation Workshop in 2023 and is open to work in book- and commercial illustration, comics, lettering design, and visual development. He is also a writer and a story-consultant. He’s passionate about bold, elegant visuals and intelligent storytelling. His work is grounded with a splash of dreaminess and his ambition keeps pushing him further to immerse, inspire, challenge, and connect his readers and viewers. Magnus loves it when things look delicious. He is currently working on his second book DiSCONNECT, a 160-page graphic novel about friendship, grief and music. Coffee Brake, Magnus' first published book was published by Hunov & Haffgaard in May 2021 and nominated for Best Debut in the Claus Deleuran comics award. His drawing and comic classes for kids usually begin with him writing EXPRESSIVENESS with a permanent marker on the whiteboard.
