Jia Zhang-Ke

ia Zhang-Ke was born in Fenyang, China and studied at Beijing Film Academy. He’s directed many films, including Xiao Wu (98), Still Life (06), and Festival selections including Platform (00), Unknown Pleasures (02), A Touch of Sin (13), and Ash Is Purest White (18). He’s received many awards, including the Lifetime Achievement Award Carrosse d’Or at Cannes in 2015. Caught by the Tides (24) is his latest film.
