Raj Kapoor

Raj Kapoor (1924-1988), sometimes referred to as “The Showman,” is an icon of Indian cinema. He was born in Peshawar, and was an acclaimed actor, producer, and filmmaker. He directed and starred in some of his best-known films, including Awāra (51), Sangam (64), and Mera Naam Joker (70), and is also known for starring in Boot Polish (54).
