Boris Lojkine
Boris Lojkine was born in 1969 in Paris, France. He studied at Ecole Normale Supérieure before teaching philosophy at the university of Aix-Marseille. He has directed two feature documentaries: CEUX QUI RESTENT (2001) and LES ÄMES ERRANTES (2006). His film HOPE (2014), won the SACD Award in the Semaine de la Critique. CAMILLE (219) was selected at the Locarno FF. His latest film THE STORY OF SOULEYMANE (2024) was selected to compete in Un Certain Regard at Cannes IFF where it was awarded the Jury's Prize and for the best Actor.
