Zach Woods: Zach was most recently the showrunner, director, writer, and actor on the series IN THE KNOW that aired earlier this year, which he co-created with Mike Judge and Brandon Gardner for Peacock. He also stars in “The Afterparty” on Apple TV which aired summer 2023. Zach's other television credits include Armando Iannucci’s AVENUE 5 and VEEP, a six-season run as 'Jared Dunn' on the HBO hit comedy SILICON VALLEY, 'Gabe Lewis' on NBC's THE OFFICE, PLAYING HOUSE, THE GOOD WIFE, THE LEAGUE, KROLL SHOW, and COMEDY BANG BANG.
On the feature side, Zach has appeared in DOWNHILL alongside Will Ferrell and Julie Louis-Dreyfus, Steven Spielberg’s THE POST, Armando Iannucci's IN THE LOOP, Chistopher Guest's MASCOTS, Whit Stillman's DAMSELS IN DISTRESS, OTHER PEOPLE, GHOSTBUSTERS 3, SPIN ME ROUND, SPY, and THE HEAT. He began his career at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater in New York where he performed in the flagship show Asssscat.
Zach made his directorial debut with his short film DAVID, which he co-wrote, starring Will Ferrell, William Jackson Harper and Fred Hechinger. It was the sole selection from the United States to compete for the Palm d'Or in official competition at Cannes Film Festival. It was also selected by the Telluride and Toronto Film Festivals and many others.
