Francis Desharnais

Francis Desharnais began his career in animation with Kiwisiti, an artist collective based in Quebec City. With this group, he directed Rumors, a movie produced by the National Film Board of Canada. In 2012, he adapted one of his series of comic strips, Burquette, into an animated web series. Francis then worked for several years as a cartoonist, creating books such as Art Wars and Little Russia, both published by Pow Pow Press. The Great Annual party of the Creatures of the Moon marks for him a return to animation.
