Tactility and motion are important to me. I make animations, drawings, and paintings using my hands.

Sometimes my work is a way of processing and rearranging ideas that I think are interesting or important so that I understand them better.

I like nature and biology, anthropology, and linguistics.
I like having emotions.
I like stories.

More specifically:
Bodies are weird.
Language and notation is interesting.
So many activities are permeated with ritual.
Creatures.

I like honest expression in work. Irony and posturing can be fun every now and then, but trying hard to express or get at truth, or explore an area earnestly is ultimately more rewarding for me both in terms of process and results.
