Peter Bjerre Salling

Director based in Copenhagen.

I was born in Odense, Denmark 1996.

I graduated from the film school 18 FRAMES in summer 2024 and from January 1st 2025 I’m working freelance after working six years as a director for Goodwill.

I come from a musician’s home and have a passion for making personal films that are sensory captivating. My dream is to achieve those rare cinematic moments, where the audience completely forget they’re sitting in the theatre and are fully transported onto the screen.

To do that I try to combine compelling narrative experiences with a high level of artistic expression. A lot of my narrative work delve into relationships breaking apart with relatable and flawed human beings at the center. However, my interests in themes / genres as well as my cinematic vocabulary is constantly evolving, as I try to push myself into unknown territory.
