Lauren Lexton

Lauren Lexton is an Emmy Award-winning producer and the co-founder of Authentic Entertainment, which was acquired by Endemol Shine North America. She has created and produced over 80 unscripted, documentary and digital series including Ace of Cakes, Toddlers & Tiaras, Best Thing I Ever Ate, Cities of the Underworld, Here Comes Honey Boo Boo, and many others. During her 18 year tenure at Authentic, which was included in RealScreen Magazine’s “Global 100” list every year from 2007 to 2019, she grew the company from three to several hundred employees. Lexton served on the board of directors of the International Documentary Association (IDA) as Co-VP and Co-President, and has served as a judge for the IDA awards numerous times. She is currently a producer on the documentaries Maestra, which had its 2023 premiere at Tribeca, and Food and Country which premiered at Sundance in 2023.
