Pete Quandt

Raised in rural upstate New York, Pete is a Queens based cinematographer and director. He’s drawn to working-class communities and stories across the country, with a specific focus on the mass incarceration system.

His work has screened at Cannes, Sundance, MOMA, SXSW, and been programmed on The New York Times, Vimeo Staff Picks, and Short of the Week. He was a 2024 Woodstock Filmmaker Resident.
