Asia Youngman

Asia Youngman is an award-winning Indigenous (Cree-Métis) filmmaker. Working in both scripted and documentary, she has directed projects for Netflix, ESPN, Lifetime, PBS, History Channel, CBC, Bell Media, TVO, APTN and Telus. She co-directed and executive produced I’M JUST HERE FOR THE RIOT (2023) for ESPN’s acclaimed 30 for 30 series. The film premiered at Hot Docs Festival and is now available to stream on ESPN+.
