Roisin Agnew
Roisin Agnew is an Italian Irish filmmaker, writer, and educator based in London.
She’s recently worked as a games writer for PlayStation developing a new IP as part of its first writers’ room. She directed The Ban (2024), commissioned by Northern Ireland Screen featuring Gerry Adams and Stephen Rea. She’s the screenwriter on Yara (2023) in competition at the Galway Film Fleadh 2024. She’s currently in development with her first feature with Tailored Films and Screen Ireland.
She’s an Associate Lecturer at The London Film School. She’s a PhD student at the Centre for Research Architecture, Goldsmiths.
She curates Storming Heaven with filmmaker Gerard Ortin Castellvi, a screening series assembled around activist film.
