Angello Faccini Rueda

Angello was born in Bogota, Colombia, and studied filmmaking at ESCAC in Barcelona. He works as a director and cinematographer, managing narrative, documentary, and commercial projects. As a cinematographer, Angello has worked on eight feature films shot in Colombia, Mexico, India, Spain, Peru, and Chile. His work has been featured at festivals such as Berlinale, Venice, Sundance, and Toronto IFF. His latest film, currently in post-production, is IN ALL MY JOURNEYS I’M RETURNING (2024), a period piece shot on S16mm along the Magdalena River in Colombia, starring Denis Lavant. Angello is preparing his ninth feature, a film by director Juanita Onzaga, supported by Hubert Bals Bright Future, set in Colombia and Brazil for December 2024. Angello is an active member of the Colombian Association of Cinematographers (ADFC) and was a Berlinale Talents Alumni in 2020.
