André Carrilho

In a career spanning 30 years, André Carrilho has won over 100 awards and honours (below) in illustration, editorial cartoon, animation and caricature, and has shown his work in group and solo exhibitions in Portugal, Spain, Brazil, France, Czech Republic, China and USA. Since 2009 he publishes a weekly editorial cartoon in Diário de Notícias.
He's the producer and co-creator of Spam Cartoon, a series of animated editorial cartoons for 360º, the Thursday nightly newscast at RTP Notícias. Spam Cartoon current cartoonists are André Carrilho, Cristina Sampaio and Tiago Albuquerque.
