Omid Zarei

Omid Zarei is an XR producer & real-time developer on the quest to explore alternative ways of immersive storytelling. He co-directed & lead UE development on the VR-Film “A Vocal Landscape” which premiered in Venice Immersive 2023. It has been presented in several international festivals incl. NewImages Festival & recent presentation at SIGGRAPH 2024 VR Theatre. A Vocal Landscape won the “Best VR” award at the PFCAT. Coming from a Film background, Omid has produced & led immersive projects that push the envelope in storytelling — stories that step into the unknown aimed at an ever evolving audience, all the while rooted in the familiar.
