Singer-songwriter, musician, and record producer. Lead singer and primary songwriter of 4 Non Blondes (1991–1994), known for the hit Whats Up? Subsequently wrote and produced hits including Beautiful for Christina Aguilera, Get the Party Started for Pink, and What You Waiting For? for Gwen Stefani. Inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2015. Grammy-nominated for Producer of the Year, Non-Classical, in 2019 — the first female producer nominee unattached to a production team.
