Youhanna Nagy

Youhanna Nagy is a filmmaker, visual artist, editor and producer from Alexandria, Egypt, with a bachelor’s degree in anthropology. His short film It’s Nothing Nagy, Just Hang Up! received a jury special mention at the Cairo International Film Festival. His debut feature, And There Was Evening and There Was Morning. The First Day, won a FIPRESCI award at Ismailia in 2025. He has worked as a film instructor and programmer and co-edited Ibrahim Omar’s Nothing Happens After Your Absence.
