Tess Martin

Tess Martin is a Rotterdam-based film and visual artist working across animation, installation and expanded cinema, with handcrafted techniques such as paint on glass, cut-outs, ink, sand and objects. Many of her projects exist both as short films and as installations, and her work has been shown at festivals, museums and artist residencies in Europe, North America and Asia. She holds a Master of Animation from AKV St Joost and was earlier a member of SEAT, the Seattle Experimental Animation Team. She also directs and animates commercial projects and runs the monthly Manifest Animation Show & Tell events in Rotterdam.
