Veronika Neputina

Veronika (b. 1998, Yekaterinburg, Russia) is an animation filmmaker. She studied at the Ural State Academy of Architecture and Arts before transferring to the HSE Art and Design School, where she graduated in 2021 with a degree in Animation and Illustration. Her films have been screened at international animation festivals. After graduation, she worked as director and animation artist on the documentary project Living Memories. In 2023, she completed additional studies in Art & Science at ITMO University, expanding her practice at the intersection of animation and contemporary art. Veronika's work explores movement, memory, and the fragile boundary between reality and imagination. Through animation, she creates quiet, poetic worlds where familiar images gradually transform and fiction intertwines with everyday life. She is currently working on her independent films and other projects.
