How to Turn Your Animation Film Idea into Reality: Apply for the 2024 Mifa Pitches

If you have a dream of making an animation film, you might want to apply for the Mifa Pitches at the Annecy International Animation Film Market (Mifa). The Mifa Pitches are a unique opportunity to showcase your project to a panel of experts and potential collaborators from the animation industry.

The Mifa Pitches are open to authors (with or without a producer) who have an animation film project in mind or in the early stages of development. You can submit your project in one of the four categories: Short Films, Feature Films, TV Series & Specials, or Digital Experiences. The selected projects will be presented at the Mifa Pitches sessions during the Annecy Festival in June 2024.

The submission deadline for all categories is 1st February 2024. You can find the submission form and the regulations on the Annecy Festival website. Projects from territories where animation is just emerging can compete in each category. If selected, they will benefit from the Animation du Monde label and specific support. Web series projects can compete in the TV Series & Specials category.
