Marking its 40th anniversary, Sundance will host special screenings, including new 4K restorations of iconic films like ‘Napoleon Dynamite’ and ‘Go Fish,’ alongside extended versions of ‘DIG!’ The celebration extends to panels and workshops with industry veterans discussing the legacy of independent cinema.

The festival’s lineup spans 12 categories, showcasing 91 projects from 24 countries, affirming Sundance’s role in introducing new voices and stories. Festival Director Eugene Hernandez highlights the importance of curation in reflecting Sundance’s passion for film.
