Molodist KIFF 2024 Announces Festival Dates and Call for Entries
Kyiv International Film Festival "Molodist" stirs excitement as it officially opens the call for entries for its highly anticipated 53rd edition, slated for October 26 to November 3, 2024. The festival invites filmmakers worldwide to submit their creations, with the submission deadline set for August 1, 2024.
Building on the success of the 2023 offline event, where 128 films graced the screens, Molodist KIFF 2024 promises an engaging program. Winners in the International Program stand to receive the Grand Prix of USD 5,000 and "The Scythian Deer" statuette, while additional USD 2,000 prizes await outstanding films in each category. The National Competition Program offers a substantial reward of 50,000 hryvnias and "The Scythian Deer" statuette for the top film.
In recognition of excellence, the festival's directorate allocates a prize fund of USD 2,000 for winners in the Teen Screen program and the Documentary competition. Filmmakers eager to participate can submit their works through FilmFreeway using the provided link until August 1, 2024.
Established in 1970, Molodist KIFF holds the distinction of being Ukraine's sole internationally accredited film festival by FIAPF, marking its 30th year of membership.
