The Academy Award nominations encompassed a broad range of categories. For Best Picture, the Film Awards celebrated seven out of the ten nominees, including "American Fiction," "Barbie," "The Holdovers," "Killers of the Flower Moon" (which also received the Vanguard Award), "Maestro," "Oppenheimer," and "Poor Things."

In the Best Director category, Martin Scorsese was nominated for "Killers of the Flower Moon," receiving the Vanguard Award at the Palm Springs event. The Best Actor category saw nominations for Colman Domingo in "Rustin" (Spotlight Award, Actor), Paul Giamatti in "The Holdovers" (Icon Award), Cillian Murphy in "Oppenheimer" (Desert Palm Achievement Award, Actor), and Jeffrey Wright in "American Fiction" (Career Achievement Award).

The Best Actress nominees included Lily Gladstone for "Killers of the Flower Moon" (Vanguard Award), Carey Mulligan for "Maestro" (International Star Award, Actress), and Emma Stone for "Poor Things" (Desert Palm Achievement Award, Actress).
