Annecy Festival 2025 Residency: Call for Animation Feature Film Projects

The Annecy International Animation Film Festival in France invites applications for its 2025 Residency. Supported by regional authorities, the residency offers a three-month program for animation feature film graphic development, starting 4th April 2025. Three selected projects will receive workspace, mentorship, and assistance. Apply by 10th September 2024.

The Annecy International Animation Film Festival, renowned for its support of animation creators, has announced a call for applications for its 2025 Residency. This initiative, bolstered by the Région Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, the Département de la Haute-Savoie, the Drac Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, and the CNC, aims to foster the development of animation feature films.

As the 2024 residency program concludes on 28th June, with the projects Le Cabanon de l'oncle Jo, Zako, and Insectarium set to be showcased at the Mifa Partners Pitch on 11th June at the Impérial Palace, the spotlight now turns to the forthcoming 2025 edition.

Starting on 4th April 2025, the residency will welcome three new projects, providing their creators with a dedicated workspace at Les Papeteries – Image Factory. The residency also includes mentorship tailored to the needs of each project and comprehensive support from the CITIA teams, ensuring a conducive environment for creative exploration.
