Red Wisdom

Based on Shahab al-Din Suhrawardi's treatise Red Wisdom, this 2D computer animation follows a bird that is caught in a net and turned into a man bound by chains reaching up to the sky. Guided by a luminous old man with a red beard, he makes his way to Mount Qaf, follows the Simorgh and frees himself from his chains.
