Fox Book

A fox opens her book and tells a string of medieval Armenian fables by Vardan Aygektsi and Mkhitar Gosh, in which a wolf, a goat, a lion, a donkey and a dog scheme against one another and embody human vices. Sahakyants Animation Studio describes the film as a bright musical full of transformations and absurd situations, and as the first animated musical made in the Soviet Union. As in any fable, it closes with a moral urging eternal vices to wander back into the fables.
