Brutus

Брут
by Svetlana Filippova

A touching story of a dog and its owner – the inhabitants of a Jewish ghetto, and then a concentration camp, during the Second World War.
Brutus only looked into the man’s eyes for a moment and immediately turned away so as not to see the changes, in order to preserve what he was given, to take with him what he received. No one knows better than dogs how changeable human affection is. “It’s a pity that we dogs can’t talk about anything with people, otherwise we would teach them to recognize good and evil by smell.”
The film is based on the story of Ludvik Ashkenazi “Brutus”.
