An animated documentary in which a Chinese mother and her British-born daughter speak openly as adults for the first time, shedding new light on cultural misunderstandings from the daughter's childhood. Built around a recorded conversation between the filmmaker and her mother, it draws on the visual language of Cultural Revolution-era propaganda posters.
