A Love Letter to the One I Made Up
- English, Hebrew (עברית)

- 6 min
A lonely walk home is intertwined with an underwater fantasy world. The combination between reality and fantasy is portrayed in a love letter addressed to an imaginary “perfect” man. The film displays a critical, female point of view on the idea of romantic modern love in western society. Its main purpose is to dismantle the “knight in shining armour” myth. It is made with a unique technique of screen-printed animation. Every 20 frames are printed in a grid formation on A3 paper, then scanned and cut to their original form as a running, 25 fps film.
