The film is based on an interview with Felix, and his close relationship with his grandfather. It is about the childhood memories of the main character Felix, about his very close relationship with his grandfather, and how everything changes when the grandson decides to come out as gay. “The Best Grandpa in the World” is one of the episodes of the documentary animated mini-series about the life of Russian LGBT people.
