Frédéric Swierczynski is one of the world’s top cave diving experts. Sébastien Devrient, the filmmaker, is also a mountain guide. They are friends, and they plan to embark on an expedition together to dive at extremely high altitudes in Argentina, at the end of the world: three weeks of expedition, carrying their diving gear to reach lakes at nearly 6000 meters above sea level. Extensive preparation is required before undertaking this ambitious project, done in complete autonomy. To succeed in this daring venture, they had to adapt, push the limits of human body and equipment adaptation, and find the right solutions to be as lightweight as possible. A challenging journey takes the two friends into a mineral world where the lack of water will soon become evident.
