What would the world be like without humans? From the images of dividing cells, organic shapes and green landscapes, we move to an abandoned city. Closed cafés, loungers with no one to sit on them and empty parking lots may suggest an approaching apocalypse. Austere, minimalist space and a score reminiscent of an alarm siren intensify the atmosphere of the end of the world. It seems as if there is no life in this sterile world, but is it true? An adaptation Sara Teasdale’s poem ‘There will come soft rains’ written in 1918, which shows the vision of nature after the extinction of the human race.
