Supervised by director Alice Diop, six young directors produced stories centered around their direction of six actors and actresses, selected through a joint casting process. Set against the evocative backdrop of Locarno’s Hotel Belvedere, the films address contemporary themes such as class struggle, parent-child relationships, and issues within the cultural world.
