The film is a surrealist fable that explores re-birth, memory and existentialism inspired by Oscar’s own spiritual journey which he was gracious enough to give me the responsibility to articulate visually. I wanted to take the imagery of a man wandering a vast epic landscape combined with the symbols of films and cinema to be a metaphor for the process of introspection.
