Door

by Fuka Katayama

The red door of the house opens onto a series of rooms. The protagonist freely plays and explores in a landscape that repeats itself every time the door is opened. Then, he encounters a dog. The inside of the “house,” which represents one’s inner world, fluctuates amidst the repetition of daily life, and can be warm, joyful, or exciting. The film depicts a child expanding his or her world with new encounters and anxieties.
