The moment we come into contact with the world through our senses, an interpretation arises in our brain, like a small image of our own that fills a white emptiness. The sensory perception functions here as a bridge between the supposed reality and the idea that arises in our heads. In this process of perception, recorded signals such as light and sound waves are encoded and decoded again. From these collected information a model is created in the brain. This film is an experimental examination of the process of translating our sensory impressions and the interconnectedness of the senses.
