‘Canvas’ is an interactive new media installation that explores the boundaries between perception, materiality and light. The viewer's movements trigger real-time projected animations, that appear in a mirror as light floating in thin air, ready to be touched. ‘Canvas’ is a system of precise interaction between technology and cognition, as the image itself - the “painting” within the frame - is a mere illusion that exist only in the viewer’s eyes.
