A day in the life of Violeta, a Spanish woman living alone in France with her 6-year-old son Paco. During this day, Violeta learns of the death of her grandmother. This death confronts her with the present. In the course of a few hours, with her hesitations, she builds a new way of being in the world. She wakes up, she desires again.
