Unwanted in their countries, they sought refuge in the US, to no avail, and were deported. At last, they found the strength and solidarity they needed to rebuild their lives from scratch in a community in Guatemala. Carrying wounds and memories, four young LGBTQI+ persons tell their stories in front of the camera lens of Spanish filmmaker Adrián Silvestre, a longtime friend of the Thessaloniki International Documentary Festival, sweeping us along with their inexhaustible momentum to reconstruct the very ties that shape human experience.
