A woman who lives alone in a house in the middle of the sea, makes herself a little girl from her own hair. One day, a ship appears, attracting the child’s attention and upsetting the harmony. Out of jealousy and concern, the woman resorts to measures that increasingly restrict the girl’s life as she becomes more drawn to the outside world.
