On his honeymoon, the filmmaker stops at a campsite in Tennessee and witnesses the peak of the brief season where fireflies blink synchronously. Based on this memory, the animation was created from 81 ink on paper drawings, manipulated with code. The sound is made with pencils, brushes and paper.
