Canopy

An impressionistic exploration of a canopy which unfolds from a chromatic tree structure where thousands of leaves and branches follow one another. Shot in Super 8 over four seasons, the project captures the metamorphoses of the treetops over time. Somewhere between fragmentary documentary and formal research, the film offers a renewed perspective on nature and the medium of cinema.
