Vienna in the late 1920s: As a high-school student from a wealthy Jewish family, Bruno Kreisky is only grudgingly accepted into the Young Socialist Workers. Amid escalating political tensions in the country, Bruno and his comrades organize clandestine meetings, distribute leaflets advocating resistance, and risk their lives in an uprising against the fascist regime.
