Two Pids

When John Smith arrived at the Toronto IFF in 2024, he was surprised at the standard of the hotel he had been assigned as an avant-garde filmmaker. He then encountered a man in the lift who was staying in a room thirteen storeys higher up – the greater the star, the higher the floor. And since strangers don’t usually speak to one another in lifts, Smith had to make this film in order to pass on an important message to him.
