What does an athlete do when the applause dies down? He creates a garden. Stanisław Chemicz, former coach of Cracovia and Wisła Kraków, is creating a garden in a Kraków housing estate filled with sporting memorabilia, plants and objects from days gone by. Today, the audience is different, and the pitch has been replaced by a few flowerbeds. Chemicz continues to arrange, refine, tend to and watch over his world after the final whistle. 'Trophies' is a short documentary about time, memory and victories that do not need to gleam in a display cabinet. Film produced as part of the Lighthouse Film Community.
